Nice upstairs place for a drink. Theres a distant view of the sea in one spot. You have to be impressed with any place that serves Laphroaig, especially a place as far away as this one from the isle of Islay in latitude and temperature. The drink went down exceedingly well. Service was a tad languid and distant but in my present holiday mood Im not really fussed. Id happily return.
Decent food, nothing too special here. It’s a good average place to grab food, you’ll most likely find something on the menu for everybody in your friend group or family. Had the grilled fish tacos which were a above average. I’d give this place a 3.3.
Lahaina gem. I recently visited Maui and was looking for some place to watch the Stanley Cup hockey playoffs, have a drink and get a bite to eat.I stumbled on a gem in Captain Jack’s. The location and atmosphere were great, food and drink awesome, and the bartenders (Henry and Kari) superb!!!It became my daily stop during my stay, to check on the hockey scores, try a new menu item and mingle with the tourists and locals.I will definitely be visiting Captain Jack’s on my next trip to Maui……..
I was really impressed with this place! The food was better than some of the more expensive places we ate. My family of 5 ordered 5 different things & all were happy!
Crab Cakes. Very good crab cakes…crunchy texture and a good amount of crab!
Fantastic fresh fish!!! Had the fresh fish salad, but be sure you like spice.
Love this place. My husband and I are in Maui every year. We look forward to having lunch there. Good food, friendly staff and a beautifu view! Looking forward to our visit next month.
