We enjoyed our meal here at Captain Jacks, the sister restaurant to the very popular diner Cool Cat Cafe.Easy to pass by on the Lahaina strip across from the Banyan Tree but worth a meander up the steps for a visit. We almost decided against this place with all the other options but so glad we did! They accommodated our big group no problem. Great view of Front Street on the covered terrace. The casual pub is a fun Pirate-style theme, popular with both locals and tourists. We ordered a medley of dishes and there were no disappointments. Food is solid pub grub. And service was great. The Fish & Chips were a hit: beer battered crisp and golden, cooked perfectly, served with wrinkle-wedge fries. The Skipper Fish Sandwich was another favourite served with two pieces of deep fried Ono on a toasted roll and a heaping of fresh coleslaw. The hubs went rogue and ordered the bacon cheeseburger and he was very happy. Overall our experience was great and we would visit again.
Chilled upstairs bar on the Lahaina tourist strip, great for elevated people watching, especially on boat day. Divine intervention led us here during happy hour (2pm-5pm) & with basics starting at $4 & popular cocktails from $5…we came in hot. Some of the best mai tais we had in Hawaii. Maholo!
