On our trip to Lahaina, we decided to try their famous cheeseburger in paradise(they claim it to be one of the best cheeseburger in Hawaii).However, we ended up enjoying the fries more than the burger and ordered for some more. The burger was just average and wasn’t anything special as they claimed it to be. May be the high expectations were to be blamed. We also tried their veg burger which was surprisingly better than the cheeseburger.However, the ambiance of the restaurant is really nice and if you follow the island clock, it is one of the places you should definitely visit.
Sat fast, as we got there about 15 minutes before the stopped serving food. While waiting to order, I noticed a large rat crawling around the top shelves of cans and such. I wouldn’t have even noticed it if I wasn’t looking at the random license plates they collect. Needless to say it was an instant turn off but it was late so we stayed and ordered. The food came out pretty quick. We started with calamari. They were good and fried right and the sauce was great. I ordered the fish tacos. They were good but not great. The size was decent and sauce was good but the fish wasn’t as tasty as I expected. It was a little bland. My wife ordered the bacon burger and it was also just okay. She liked the Fries but the Burger wasn’t what you would expect from a place that specializes in burgers. Overall, I don’t think we would go here again.
We went here twice on our trip to maui during the first week of February. The breakfast special was a great deal, I believe it was 5.99 for eggs, hash browns, toast and coffee! It was really good and not your usual greasy diner breakfast. We also went for dinner later in the week. We had the fish tacos and aloha fish and fries, both were good but nothing to rave about. The ambiance was super busy, almost stressful with the amount of people and really loud music. We were sat at an original table of 4 that they separated into 2 tables of 2, this was pretty uncomfortable.
Meh… Friendly service, but the food was sub par.

Basic American food, not much else. Average taste, expensive for what it is (even accounting for Maui pricing).
Amazing place!!!! Great food, great staff and great view!!! The best in the Island!! Coconut shrimp is a must!
