After reading mixed reviews on this restaurant, I was hesitant to go, but glad I did. All 3 of us really loved our selections (which our server recommended for us), especially the crispy fish. My advice …go here, let the server tell you what to order, and ENJOY!
The service was good and the food was decent. However, you would be charged for tea in this restaurant and this restaurant does not serve dim sum. The curry chicken tastes really good while the beef chow fun had a not so good taste. Overall, this place would be good to stop by once in a blue moon.
We stopped by for authentic Chinese food at Fu Lin, when we got there, many people were here making it a great tourist spot. Prices for a dish average around $13. We ordered Curry Chicken, Beef Chow Fun, Chicken Fried Rice, Fatty pork, Crispy Chicken, and Chicken Broccoli. The Curry Chicken was good with a nice spicy sauce. The Beef chow fun was good except for one thing which is the chow fun didn’t have enough beef in it and mostly rice noodle. The Chicken Fried Rice is one of the really good dishes so try to order it if you go. The Fatty Pork dish was great, but it had more fat than pork, so we were kinda disappointed. The Crispy chicken was great, but it need more salt. The Chicken Broccoli was ok. They made the broccoli good, but the chicken was kinda bland. All of the dishes were mostly dry! And the portions were moderate sizes, but with some being small. The total bill was $82. Overall, the food was good, but needs improving. Authentic? Yes? Answer: NO! If you are looking in Lahaina for good Chinese food, This might be a place to hit, but only stop here once in a while.
