Worst meal we had on the island 🙁 very disappointing!
Disappointing. We thought we found a ‘quaint’ little restaurant on Front Street – but found the restaurant over priced and underwhelming. The pizza bread that is ‘complimentary’ is odd – and served on a cafeteria style platter – for a place with white linen table cloths it certainly deserves a better presentation. The Caesar salad (excuse me, Longhi Longhi salad) was sad.A $40.00 steak deserves to be served with a potato – but no, this restaurant has no potatoes, only pasta (weird)Overall we would say this was a very disappointing experience – except for the quaint look of the place and lovely location, even if somewhat noisy from the traffic. It wouldn’t take much to enhance the whole experience……….and they will come!
Horrible service. Food was average… service was HORRIBLE. I usually don’t take the time to write reviews; however, our experience was so bad I couldn’t resist. It took over 1 hour just to get our 1st course / salad. 1 additional hour to receive our entre. 15-20 minutes to receive our check after asking twice. Our waiter made 2 errors on our order (wrong salad and wrong entre). The young man (unusual mustache / tattoo… description is for you OWNER/MANAGER) was truly one of the worst waiters we have experienced in any restaurant. If you spend $400 for a family meal, at least service staff should be adequate. Would NEVER eat here again!JL Chicago, IL
Not worth it. The food was good, but delivered cold. One entree and a pasta side were delivered a good 15 minutes after the rest of our party was given their cold food. The pizza bread with chili sauce was weird. The waiter said there was nothing he could do about the undelivered food, but did comp them for us.
Friday dinner. The mussels were cooked in a great tomato sauce and were perfectly cooked, nice and plump. the penne arabica was tasty but pasta was not quite el dente. the Bolognese and rigatoni was pretty good. very pricey restaurant and busy as to be expected on a friday in high season. would go back for a special occasion
