Nice local Italian restaurant, near the end of the Front street tourist strip. The menu consists of lots of local produce & flavours, Italian but with lots of seafood, in it’s menu of pasta, salad & protein (they give us some complimentary pizza bread with the meal). We had the crab cake for starter, it was served as 1 giant piece of crab cake, there was good amount of crab in it and distinct freshness too. For mains, I had the spicy mussels marinara, not sure it should be called a marinara given it only had mussels in it, also not particularly spicy. Nevertheless it was a good dish, the pasta was al dente. My friend had the linguine & clams which was equally enjoyable. Service was ok. A nice meal overall.
The wait staff was mediocre at best & the food was overpriced for the quality. Waiter very rude to my son – who did not deserve that treatment. Best thing I ate was Longhi’s salad. Stay away from Lobster Canelloni – very dry. My sister’s chicken on her pasta was inedible. No meat – just fat & gristle. Tasted like frozen fajita strips from Costco were just thawed & reheated & thrown on top.
