Very friendly and attentive service. We had the famous bruschetta and the octopus salad. Both we very tasty, simple and fresh. For main we had the seafood pasta, very big portions, we shared the main. Fresh seafood and super tasty !
We have heard good things so we went to check it out. The decor was poor no ambiance the food was ok nothing to justify the steep price. The service was good fast and very friendly.
We checked some reviews and decided to try out Mala Ocean Tavern. We showed up without a reservation during a normal time for dinner rush on a Monday. All we got in return was a delicious meal prepared perfectly, wonderful service, and a gorgeous view of the sun. The restaurant was mostly full, so I would recommend the reservation or be prepared for a small wait, but the experience was awesome. Our server was Greg, who was prompt, friendly, and had good recommendations. I had a fish sandwich with a side salad that was wonderfully dressed and a great mix of flavors. The fish was prepared perfectly & the flavors in the sandwich were also wonderful. I will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to all.
