Best Tacos. This place had the best fish tacos I have ever ate. If you blink you will miss the place since it is a little road side stand. The prices are great especially for Maui. Don’t be scared of the long lines they move very quick. IT IS A MUST EAT PLACE IF YOU ARE IN MAUI.
If not for a solid 97% like by over 100 reviewers on urbonspoon we would have driven by this place. Looks like a roadside dive food cart but the food is amazing a cheap considering it is located in a sea of $$$$ hotels. We had lunch there today for $20 including drinks! At the Hyatt it’s $19 for two tacos. We are heading back tomorrow for another lunch. This place rocks and if you like quality Mexican food you MUST dine here!!
Best local food! Hidden Gem!. I did a lot of research on places to eat when planning our trip. I would have to say Ono taco did not disappoint! We had the fish burrito and shrimp tacos (which were recommended to us)! Both were amazing! We had the hot and medium salsas both very good. The food is made right in front of you! But beware to take your meal to go, they only have one table. Also the beans were not so great, they have no texture they are pureed.

Not much more than a hole in the wall, but some of the tastiest tacos I’ve ever had!
Don’t let the location fool you. The shrimp tacos were great!
Order the fish tacos. You can’t go wrong! A great local joint.
