Service was ok, they were out of almost everything, but we came on a Monday and most shipments come in on Tuesdays. Pretty pricey but its Hawaii. Food mediocre. Not much BBQ food. Definitely a local hangout.

DananAnn. We loved the locals here, the homemade bread was better than mine. The dessert as part of the meal was an extra treat. We both had pie-the crust was delicious and flakey and the filling melted in our mouths.

WASTE OF MONEY. So we were on vacation and went there because our fommers travel book recommended it. They said it was inexpensive and the food was good. WRONG. The atmosphere looks like a denny’s (i.e. totally boring) there were a bunch of old people in there, also the menu prices were way higher than expected…like minimum 15 dollars a plate. we thought we would give it a shot anyway. we decided to share an 18 dollar plate. first they gave us a fruit cup which was tiny and had an apple slice in it (seriously? the best they have in hawaii is an apple slice??) Our meal wasnt very big..the food was ok but didnt seem super fresh or good ingredients. nothing there was super tasty. the pie slice was smaller than expected, again, not fabulous but actually the best part of the meal. oh and we hardly saw our waitress. PASS ON THIS RESTAURANT. Spend your money on something better…there is so much delicious food in HI.

Fast, friendly local place with very reasonable prices.

The food is over priced. I had the salmin furikaki salad. You could tell the salmon was not fresh. Very popular with the locals.

You cant go wrong at a place where everything from the bread to the pies are homemade. Offering everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) from American fare like spaghetti to innovative Pacific-Asian cuisine such as furikake crusted salmon salad, it’s THE perfect Friday night family meal. There’s something for everyone and the prices can’t be beat. The all inclusive style meals with entre, appetizer, and dessert won’t leave you ravaging through kitchen cabinets when you get home. Be sure to try the pie.
