Horrible Food. We ate here because my husband was hungry when we got off the airport. The atmosphere is noisy and really needs some updating…However, we were still expecting good tasting food in spite of that! Usually the not so fancy places have the best food…NOT this place. My husband and the roast pork which was very tasteless, and I had the Mahi fish with fries. Both dishes were just awful. Mine tasted like Mrs pauls fish sticks. Very disappointing, cannot believe people rated this place and very good food. One thing I have noticed here on the island is you can have bad food and still be a successful restaurant because of the limit of affordable eateries here. Pay extra and get good food somewhere else. Oh yes, the service was slow also, and the parking was tight.

Was referred highly by a local for breakfast. We went, sat down, ordered and then waited more than 30 minutes with absolutely no attention from the hostess. Many others seated after us were waited on and served while we waited. 30+ minutes to prepare eggs and rice? I don’t think so! Not recommended.
Great Pancakes! I mean KILLER pancakes! I had the pineapple, my wife the banana. Good portions and bottomless Kona coffee included in the price… The food is what shines here, the decor is nothing to brag about, but if you want a great breakfast by locals check out Dani’s!!!
An Authentic Hawaiian Food Experience. Dani’s may not have the best food (but it’s OK), the nicest atmosphere (diner), or slickest service but this is a place that the locals actually would have a regular meal. And that makes at least one visit there worth while. Not to mention that our group of 7 had lunch for under $50.
Sadly, Dani’s was recommended by a family friend, but service and food were below average.
