I live in Kapaa and will not buy fish anywhere else. Best price, best fish. I love when I need to do something in Lihue. Fresh fish for dinner….Probably poke for lunch too….
The Food and Nothing Else. The food was to die for. Let’s be clear about that. Very, very good. BUT. A pretty dumpy building inside and out, staff who don’t really know anything about customer service (including personal appearance and probably hygiene) and nowhere to eat. There is nowhere to eat. Period. Baffled why the owner of the business doesn’t buy a dozen picnic tables from Home Depot or wherever and put them on the property so people could sit and eat their food outside. There was lots of room. This is one of those places that survives and even thrives in spite of itself. One wonders what would happen if some effort was made to accommodate customers a bit more.
