This is a little stall at the entrance of the Big-K. The lady sets her own hours so sometimes she’s there, sometimes she’s not. This was the first time I had ever tried a malasada (I’ve had many other versions of deep-fried dough). It was amazing. They were freshly made so they were still warm and the texture inside was soft and springy. Without a doubt the best deep-fried dough I’ve ever eaten. You can choose from either cinnamon sugar or regular sugar. Both are good! I’m sad that I don’t live on Kauai. Who knows when I’ll be able to try a malasada from here again.
