Great restaurant. My whole family loved this place. It’s right by a larger place, which we plan on trying, with a big sign and everything. This is the little hole in the wall a couple hundred feet away.Everything we had was great. Sushi was some of the best I’ve ever had. The stuff from the kitchen was very good too. Service was personal and casual. Perfect lunch
The food is FANTASTIC, the service is nice and helpful, and the atmosphere is perfectly relaxed. The portions aren’t huge, but the prices are also amazingly low (almost everything under $10), which means the only effect is that you get to try MORE of their great food. If you are in Kauai, you have to go!

Local place. Low key. Inexpensive. Pretty authentic – they don’t fill up their sushi rolls with tempura flakes and douse them in mayo.
A little hole-in-the-wall place with the best Japanese food I have ever tasted! Reccomend it 100% if you are looking fir something casual for lunch or dinner. And uhhhhh they should really cut down the bush that is covering their sign 🙂
Honestly the best Japanese home cooking I’ve ever had the pleasure to eat. As a college student from Kaua’i going to school on the mainland there is nothing I crave more than the beach, Hawaiian food, family, friends and Kiibo’s. The quaint, intimate setting with the option for traditional tatami mat floor seating or at a table make this a homey, casual, everday eatery. or drink sake at the sushi bar with superb fresh, hand-rolled sushi by Mr. Satta. Be patient because service is slow, butbsefinitely worth it. My favorites include (NOT limited to): nabeyaki rice, oyako donburi, and dragon roll. Top it off with green tea ice cream and you’re good to go. Oh and did i mention its Inexpensive and hot green tea is complimentary? Eat on.
