Worst customer service ever! I’ve been going to Assaggio’s for over 20 years and this is how they treat a long time loyal customer. I ordered a take out Chicken Assagio (less the chicken) with linguine noodles and when I got home, to my surprise, there was no linguine. When do you go to an Italian restaurant and you not get pasta with a pasta dish. Well, when I called Assaggio’s and they argued with me over the phone about my order. How rude! All I wanted was a hot meal and they refused to provide me with a hot Chicken Assaggio dish (they would only give me the linguine that THEY had forgotten to include and told me to heat up the meal myself. And I had to drive back to get linguine! They refused to apologize for messing up my order (and it was my husband’s birthday). Needless to say, you lost a long time customer for your bad attitude as I will never go there again! There are a lot of better restaurants in Kailua that actually want my business. Assaggio’s deserved a zero but I had to give them a 1.0.
I love the pepper steak but this restaurant has horrible service. I prefer the Assaggio’s in Mililani outstanding service and good food. In both locations the pepper steak is delicious.
GOOD FOOD, POOR SERVICE!. After doing our shopping & errands, we decided to have a late lunch. Only when we were seated, were we told that they close @ 2 pm. , we need to kinda order fast. Our waiter had absolutely no personality & by his actions, made it clear that he wanted to get out of there as soon as he could, but we spoiled it for him.When he tossed our Caesar salad, he just dumped everything in the bowl, never saying a word, never even checked on us through the entire meal! He’s lucky the salad turned out pretty decent. The bussboy was way more attentive.If there wasn’t an ongoing party, I would have given him a good younger lashing!!! When we left, I told the receptionist that if that waiter worked in my restaurant, he would be fired! She said I know & apologized. Soooo, they knew all along that he is A lousy waiter! Too bad, otherwise the restaurant is pretty good.
Ewwww!. Food was bland and disappointing. Ordered small size portions and they were HUGE. Waste of food & money
Shrimp Picante and Sicilian Chicken both very good. Wait staff very attentive and friendly, kept our tea glasses full, which can be a challenge with small glasses. Recommend.
This place was excellent. The service was impeccable. My glass was always full, and the food was great. Everyone in my family enjoyed this place. I would certainly recommend it.
Although the food was delicious, the service was pretty poor. I felt like everyone was rushing but not really worried about good service. Also, $2.75 for a coke with no refills is ridiculous. It was mostly ice. So, if you’re just looking for good food, this place is good! But the ambiance and service was subpar.
