The new evolution- HO HO HO. Wow. Ho Ho really is trying their best to become one of the best restaurant. They are now under a new management and ever since things been changing 180 degree in the good side. *smile* Plus their unbeatable price on the all you can eat crab legs. You can’t miss it man.I will definitely come back again.
We were invited to a baby’s first birthday party here. There was no special menu planned just the buffet. Like one reviewer wrote most of the food was unidentifiable. For me everything tasted the same, no distinction in flavor or dishes. Infact tasted like they just seasoned everything with msg. My bf who will practically eat anything especially chinese couldn’t eat it either. Considering the food was on warmers, the food was still cold. The restaurant wasn’t crowded as it was just us celebrating a birthday party about 20 of us and maybe a couple of other tables. The service was mediocre and I’m being generous. They were only serving a buffet so I don’t understand why the service was so slow. Took forever to get our drinks or clear off plates. Save your $$ and go to Panda.
I had been craving egg rolls for a few days, so my fianc and I decided to try this place since it’s pretty close. When we walked in it looked ok, nice decor and such. we decided we’d have the buffet. HUGE mistake. The food was mostly unidentifiable, and what we could figure out tasted pretty heinous. At almost $18 a person plus $2 soda, we actually considered walking out. aside from the food, the staff was pretty inattentive; my fianc waited about 7 minutes for a drink refill before flagging down a server. The dished even looked vaguely grimy. And, unless you’re a 6′ 300 lb guy, you might almost get trampled. Worst dining experience I’ve ever had the misfortune to experience.
The only thing that I like from there are the fresh baked manapua and pork hash. the buffet used to be so good before, but i heard that it’s sucky now. That’s too bad.
Great dimsum manapua place. Great for dealer visits.
The buffet is junk, but they have the best manapua. My friend who is working in hoho chinese cuisine currently told me that the management ship of the restaruant has been changed in 2009. I like the service and the food before. Right now, the food in buffet line is cold and old, it is very junk. and the service is very poor. The only good food in the restaurant now is the MANAPUA, and the BIG SIZE PORK HASH, it is very yummy and good price. I like it. They have the best manpua in hawaii, tasty, juice, and affordable price. As my friend told me ,they still hiring the same manapua cook as before, no wonder they still having a very high quality of manapua. but the management right now they are having is very terrible, NO SERVICE, BAD ATTITUDE, NOT FRIENDLY.
