We had to wave someone down to order and it only got worse from there. The food was fair to poor. Had a couple of chicken dishes and duck spring rolls, nothing spectacular. The hot and sour soup was good, but they brought out all the food right away without letting us finish the soup. While I didn’t expect NY City Chinatown I did expect something much better. Would never go again.
Very pleased with our experience here

Good food. We visit nearby every year for two weeks and eat here twice during that time. We always enjoy the food, trying different dishes each time. This visit we had orange chicken, beef fried rice, and stir fried veggies. Everything was great. If there is one negative, it is the grumpy owner. He has two ladies that serve, and they are attentive and efficient. The male owner brought our check to the table, telling me how much it was as he walked closer. He took my credit card, and returned with the slip. He laid it before me and stood there until I signed it. It made me feel as though he trout I was going to run out without paying. If the food wasn’t so good I probably would not go back.
If this is what passes for Chinese food in Hawaii I feel sorry for Hawaiians. The shrimp fried rice came with tiny little salad shrimp on top of steamed rice (see photo). The rice was just barely fried, if fried at all. Wife’s chicken and broccoli was a bit better, at least in appearance, but was bland and could have benefited from some seasonings of some sort. The wonton soup was served in a huge bowl with a ladle, and had a ton of wonton dumplings in it; it was by far the best part of the meal for us. This place is not expensive at all (our entrees were about $8 a piece), but you should probably skip this place if possible. We refused the go-home boxes they offered us and picked up Burger King from across the street on our way home.
