The restaurant is small and awkwardly designed. French fries are dry and bland. Would’ve preferred seasoned fries or the option to have seasoned salt. Burgers are dry and too much to bite into. Would stop by again as a last resort. And the bathroom is outside…..really?

Mr.. I’ve enjoyed having Kua Aina burgers for lunch at both the Haleiwa and Ward Center shops. But the one in Kapolei is bad. Don’t know if the recipe is different, but the hamburgers were dry and not very tasty. I think they microwave them, whereas the other two places use open fire. I wouldn’t go back there again.Plus it seemed the place is poorly designed. The line is by the wall, with the register at the end of the counter. After I gave my order, I was curtly told to move aside. But there was nowhere to move aside to – there were other customers waiting for their order. Perhaps the register should be forward of the counter and orders taken there. Guess they were trying to save money. All in all, it was a bad experience and I wouldn’t go back there.
Tons of avocado on the avocado burger. Fresh cut shoestring fries. Yum.
