Great Location. The location is all that it has going for it. The views are great from most tables. However, the service is just bad. The menu is ok, but considering all the quality ingredients on the island they could do much better. Really was not a fun time and quite a disappointing experience.
Good happy hour, get the wings.Breakfast buffet is good but pricey, you pay for the view
Only thing this place has goign for it is convenience. Save your money and either use the grills on the property or go across the street for much better food at the same price.
Fabulous views here! If Oscar is at the bar, expect your drinks to be top notch. We only ordered fries, but they were crispy and perfect. Great place to hang out, watch the sun set, and have a drink.
Great setting, mediocre food. Stick with burgers and fries – you’ll be happier.
First, the amount of birds walking around your feet and trying to eat the food off your plates here can be pretty annoying. I think that’s just the price you pay for sitting outside to watch the waves roll in.We have to disagree with other reviewer that said the seafood pasta was great. The shrimp and lobster pieces in it were good, but they were few and far between, and the dish was full of crunchy onions. I’m normally a fan of onions, but crunchy onions just don’t belong in a creamy seafood sauce with linguini in my humble opinion. They ruined the dish for me. My wife had the prime rib and fried shrimp combo. Her prime rib was very overcooked (not even slightly pink in the center) and she insisted on sharing her 4 fried shrimp with me, which is never a good sign. They reminded me of fried shrimp you might find in a bag in the frozen section of your grocery store. We had 3 cocktails between us, and they were all very good; definitely the highlight of the meal. There was also a talented musician playing on stage while we ate, which was nice. $113 later (including gratuity), we wished we had dined elsewhere. We have been to Longboards for the breakfast buffet, and it was not bad. But I don’t think we will be back for lunch or dinner again.
We went twice, or tried to. First time was decent but nothing special other than convenience. A little over priced but that is rxpected based on location. The next time, we were turned away and it wasn’t even happy hour yet. Pretty ridiculous.
