I’ve been coming here since I was a baby, and my dad was brought here when he was just a kid. It may be the nostalgia but this is the only place I go for Chinese. I on the regular get the pork eggplant, cake noodle gau gee, chicken choi sum, pecan shrimp, and salt and pepper squid. I’m never disappointed…EVER! Also when sick…war gau gee min always makes me feel 10xs better!

This place is like the Chinese restaurants of 50 years ago, with a hundred or more selections on the menu, including pretty much everything you could hope for. The food is good and the portions huge. My husband loved the hot and sour soup which came in a tureen big enough for six. The lunch plate was a good mix of standard Chinese fare and big enough for two people to share.

Childhood Memories. Golden Duck brings back fond memories of local Cantonese cuisine from my childhood growing up in Honolulu. Food is consistent and portions are large. Prices comparable to any Chinese restaurant.
Want a large lunch plate. The standard lunch plate is pretty large, and for me, pretty good too. Tried the Peking Duck and the (forgive me if I get this wrong) beef broccoli with cake noodle. Loved it! Need to try more.
