interesting decor, sort of in a time warp, next to a mortuary and attached to c a fish importer thus the freshness of t h e fish. Sashimi very could, sushi including so called california roll pretty tasteless along with a braised abalone dish, ocean eel ok. 2 of us for lunch, and we certainly didn’t have a lot came to $120US with the 20% tip.overall one of the better meals had in a week on Oahu, where t h e over all standard is pretty poor, sadly.

A hidden gem. Authentic sushi, omakase style! Reservations are definitely recommended. And advanced reservations necessary to sit by the sushi bar. Get the omakase, you won’t regret it. gofindalice.com

I will say that I live in Tokyo, so my sushi expectations might be too high, so please take that into account as you read this reviewI chose Mitch’s because it was highly recommended by locals and the online reviews were stellar, but I was not impressed. I ordered a California roll, a tuna roll, and 2 pieces of abalone. It cost about $47 including tip.I felt that the sushi was fresh, but that it tasted a little bland. I was really hoping for a lot more flavor, especially for the price.

Try the lobster. Well this was my 1st time there and it was alright in quality of food ,meaning yanagi’s same quality or better, and cheaper. I liked mitch’s for the lobster sashimi dish.. You can only get it there. Good stuff.. Exspensive but good!
