Good beer, live music, delicious blackened mahi mahi sandwich all led to a great time. Outside of the price there are no complaints here, but I guess that’s expected of a touristy restaurant.
Amazing. Came here after a day of hiking around the area, and it was well worth the wait. We’ve tasted their beer in the past (amazingly we can find it all the way back home in Pennsylvania), but nothing beats fresh off the tap beer. I had the lemongrass ginger beer, which really hit the spot after a day in the sun. The food was also delicious – started out with the hummus which was a very generous portion, followed by delicious fish tacos (mahi was the fish of the day). Husband had the BBQ chicken sandwich, which was nothing special, but still very good. Highly recommend making a trip here if you’re going to be vacationing in Oahu!
A night at the Kona Brewery.. The food was good as was their beer. However their entertainment was so loud the waitress could not hear our orders, we were unable to talk to each other and could not hear the waitress. The incessant noise this group called music was way to loud to even begin to enjoy the music or our evening.
Horrid Service. Ambience obnoxiously loud. Food Mediocre!. We’ve eaten here several times but won’t be going back. The service was beyond terrible. The waitress was a complete ditz. Our appetizer never showed until we flagged the waitress down. It was so late they comped it which was nice of them. The fish I ordered was good but unbelievably small. The sides were cold as were the sides my spouse ordered. When I asked for the dessert menu, the waitress brought the check. I’d like to give her the benefit of the doubt that she misheard since the music was so loud you couldn’t hear yourself think, but when I placed my credit card with the check, she ignored it and went to the other side of the restaurant to fold napkins. We took the bill up ourselves. So guess what – no tip.
Pizza Buns. Those things are awesome and the other food is ok too
Excellent food and service! It is a hike from Waikiki but well worth it if you like craft beer.
Couldn’t have been a more perfect place for our first night in Kona. The service was top notch, beer amazing, and pizza to die for.
