Amazing food and wonderful prompt service! We had the fried calamari to start, a large portion for two people. With the entrees, a salad is included as well. We had the jumbo shrimp and blacken mahi, both were absolutely delicious!! A great value for the amount of food and service we received.

Price were a little high for the type of food and quality of service. Huge portions at dinner accompanied by prices almost double of the lunch menu…sharing charge now made sense on the menu as most entrees could have been shared with two people

Excellent service, great food, and great value on the daily plate lunch specials. We will return!

Really, really good. Crab cakes were wonderful, and the lunch plate special was Ono over rice. Amazing. Would highly recommend.

Terrific crab cakes. We arrived at Cafe O’ Lei mid afternoon looking for a spot to have a glass of wine during our day of shopping. The kitchen was closed and we were the only ones there but they sat us by the open doors and we ordered our wine. We weren’t hungry but our server advised that we could order at four pm for half price appetizers. Crab cakes and quesadillas were ordered and what a lovely surprise. The crab was so fresh and the mango sauce terrific. The pork quesadilla was flavorful and filling. We would love to go back and try their entrees.

Best meal on Maui. The prices were reasonable for island standards and the food was awesome. We didn’t have reservations and arrived right at 5:30. When we were first seated there was hardly anyone eating and I began to think that I had chosen poorly. Within an hour there was not a seat in the house and the 2 people who didn’t have reservations were told it was the last two seats at the rear sushi bar or wait, wait, wait. We started with the crab cakes and a poke’ (it’s like a Hawaiian tuna tartare). Now I love crab cakes and have had MANY, but these were the best and the Poke’ was my faveorite that I had on the island. I decided to eat the prawns and the mussels (two different appetizers) as my entree. They weren’t bad but not really inspired and the prawns were a bit overcooked. Christie had the short ribs which were to die for. I wish that I would have tried the duck. If we go back to Maui we will definately eat here again, and again, and again…
