Price did not match quality. I love 4 star restaurants and have to admit that I’m spoiled when it comes to quality dining; HOWEVER, that being said, when my spouse and I paid $300+ for a meal and a few glasses of wine (nothing over the top, mind you), we were expecting phenomenal quality. What we received did not live up to my expectations for the price. The ambience was amazing – but we were staying at the Mauna Lani anyway.
Inventive. Hadn’t been to the Canoe House for years but heard good things about Alan Hess’ menu and was not disappointed. Cold smoked Kona kampachi, goat tacos, lamb two ways were all delicious. Beautiful setting.
Beautiful place, wierd menu. Food was fresh but I did not particularly care for it.
Came here to celebrate anniversary with wife. Sat outside listening to waves. Love the rare Ono. Good wine pairings. Very romantic.
AMAZING seafood and be sure to save room for the coconut creme brulee. Will definitely eat here again.
One of the nicest places on the island to enjoy a wonderful dinner. The view is always spectacular and the food is always beautiful. It is a very fancy place but still with a relaxed feel. The drinks are very tasty and have good selection.
