This place was simple and delicious! We are not strict vegetarians and thought this place hit the spot! I had the vegan panini (but added mozzarella) that came with veggie soup and a local greens salad. The hubs had an egg salad sandwich with the same soup and salad. Both were delicious and filled us up but we couldn’t leave without having a little dessert…warm ghiradelli brownie with homemade vanilla ice cream! The place is tucked away behind some trees and there is an art gallery attached to it and the whole property is basically a big garden. It’s a very unusual restaurant but the staff was super friendly! There is a goat on the property named earnest (I love goats!) and they gave me a flower to go out there and feed him! Overall great experience!
Highly recommend Cafe Ono. They are in the little town called Volcano and just a short drive from the entrance to the volcano park. Excellent food, great personal service and a neat property. The only drawback is not much seating inside. But they have options for outside seating.
