  Great Food…Great People!!. Lunch was great , dessert even better.. and the husband and wife operating this little coffee house are very nice people and they lived in our community since 20 years. As resident we are so happy they recently opened this little cafe. It is great to finally have a place that has fresh baked pastries and treats in volcano. Quality is what is offered here. We love the. coffee, too!!

  Absolutely loved this place.. A little gem tucked away in the rainforest in Volcano village.. this is a small bakery , gift shop and cafe with delicious pastries, Hawaiian chocolate, and gteat lunch options. There is limited seating, but you can get everything as take out also. This place is not frequented by any tour buses as it is a small home style place that caters to locals and tourists that happen to discover it. The owners are a very nice couple. we enjoyed talking with them during our visit. They prepare all the food themselves as well as bake all the pastries every morning.. If they run out of certain items it is only because everything is so delicious…We also loved our coffee and are glad they brew Starbucks Coffee…,,you can get Kona Coffee anywhere on the island, but not a good esspresso….Starbucks is in my opinion much better suited for Espresso, Latte, and Cappuccino, and that is whatt this cafe specializes in. All their coffees are brewed fresh to order with an espresso machine. I had the chicken sandwich for lunch…delicious…hubby enjoyed his grilled pastrami sandwich with provolone cheese. Homemade cole slaw and potato salad..and then shared a bearclaw for desert with a coffee….everything was so good..we ended up going there next day for breakfast too…we highly recommend this unique place .
