Great breakfasts! Love their many options of eggs benedict and their banana macadamia nut pancakes! Pancake order is a huge plate of 3 pancakes that can easily be shared. Lunch okay, but homemade desserts very good. Best for breakfast and dessert!
Absolutely loved their Cobb Salad with Garlic Vinaigrette. This salad is filled with turkey, Ham, eggs, avocados, and greens. It is usually packed which screams volumes of the quality of food.

Went to Rise & Shine for lunch. My wife tried the Buffalo Chicken Wrap with Garlic fries and I tried the Grilled Ham and Cheese. Other than messing up the order (received a Grilled Turkey and Cheese), the food and service were good, not great. We also tried the homemade Mac&Cheese, it was also good.
Very glad we made this our stop for breakfast. The French toast was awesome! The veggie omelet was really good too! Definitely worth the trip.
Okay, so the address/directions are incorrect. When you take the Miliani exit off H2 and merge onto Meheula Pkwy, make a LEFT onto Ainamakua Rd. and then another left into the small strip mall. Thr directions take you into a neighborhood. Anyway, the place is chock full of locals eating and you can expect to wait at least 30 minutes on a weekend. The service was great and everyone was berfriendly. The food was delicious. Our server was really patient with our (my) lack of knowledge of local foods and helped me gwt exactly what I wanted. I tried the loco moco over fried rice with scrambled eggs. The sirloin patty was a little tough but everything else was great. My hubby got the veggie omelet. He said it was best he had all week. The cafe had a combination of our favorite pancakes – banana and macadamia nut – so I convinced him to share it with me. While waiting to order, we saw the pancakes. Literally larger than our dinner plates back home. Our server saw our plight and gave us a ‘side order’ of pancakes. (Just one dinner plate). It was well worth it. Overall, great food, great service, great people. If we’re ever back in Hawaii, we’ll definitely be back.
