Buzzfeed brought me here but I don’t feel I liked it enough to have made it worth the trip from waikiki.We tried the Hawaiian style and the lunatic flavours of ahi poke with salad. The portions are generous and smaller size salad was enough to satisfy both of us. Of the two flavors, I liked the lunatic more as I like a bit of spice without mayo.It was much welcomed on a hot day however there is no seating available so we went to the downstairs beverage store (like a cafe serving Asian drinks and crushed ice with seating and board games). If we had not done this, we wouldn’t have had a sit down place to eat at and it would have been less enjoyable.As a tourist I personally don’t feel travelling here just to grab the poke is worth it. Grab a drink and sit in the downstairs cafe for a bit, then check out the Japanese supermarket across the road for some more goodies.

Which is such a pity because the fish was clearly quite fresh. I will give this place another shot sometime, but maybe try one of their cooked/grilled items…I also requested for brown rice instead of white but that didn’t happen. gofindalice.com
