Not Indian at all. I am an Indian eating at this place and it has no feeling of an Indian restaurant. This place has totally lost its culture. It is very bland. Even when requested, it is very sweet and bland. I wish you best of luck but deservedly zero stars due to the worst Indian food ever tried in my life. Again, in Indian.

Cafe maharani has been some of the most delicious Indian cuisine I’ve had. I was impressed when I walked in and the restaurant was full. After the dishes were served I understood why. Highly recommend the onion pokora or the lamb masala curry!

I’m going despite the negative I’ve heard. Long wait, cocky attitude, mediocre service. Sure hope food defies all the drawbacks.

The food was wonderful and the prices were fair. The service on the other hand was a bit less than perfect. I think my group of three had two waiters who were very unwilling to refill our waters but the seemed to be constantly helping other tables around ours. It took us a half an hour just to get our check which caused us to miss our bus. I would still recommend this restaurant and will still return because the food was simply too good to ignore.

Been twice, first time waited 90 minutes and they had Nothing left except meat, second time gave up after an hour. Better choices for Indian in Honolulu especially in University area.

I try something new every time and every time I leave more impressed. We go here twice a month. I highly recommend the chicken coconut korma!

The food is amazing and large portions for the price. Service is average. The one thing that annoyed me is the 15% mandatory gratuity. It is stupid and unnecessary to make it mandatory. I leave a good tip anyways. And isnt the tip for good service?
