My partner and I came by this restaurant in search of Hawaiian Sunfish, Kirin did not disappoint. The fish here is live in the tanks and ordered by the pound. The fish was cooked so well and the two of us finished an entire fish by ourselves!! The staff was very friendly and attentive and we had lovely service from Amy who made us feel very at home. This place is a hidden gem amongst the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, but has had many famous people come through the doors including President Obama – the images are all displayed on the outside of the restaurant. If youre looking for authentic Chinese food in Waikiki, this is the place to go!
