  Queens Court Hilo Hawaiian Hotel. Every good review for this restaurant was written by someone who either works there or is related to someone who works there.The only people who claim to return to the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel is business people who are getting free rooms and free meal vouchers.The food is unbelievably bad.Old stale overcooked and re-cooked food. They should be embarrased, but they are not because they are getting paid, and money is more important then return guests.They get away with serving slop because the Hilo Hawaiian cares only about profit, so if they cheat you today, they make a profit today.Then they sell the Hotel once again very soon, check out how many times its changed hands in the last 12 years.Make a profit, then sell. To hell with the customers.

  Lousy. I went for the prime rib and was told they didn’t have any!Minimal choices for too great a price.11 Oct, 2010Junk. Our family had a wedding reception there recently for the Hawaiian Seafood Buffett and didn’t know they were booked solid with two more weddings and a birthday party. Our wedding party as seated nearest the hot food line and were crowded in by the people waiting in the buffet line. We waited in the hot food line 35 minutes to get plates. The sliced ham and breaded fish were dried out and the edges were hard. The rice was hard and stuck to the sides and bottom of the serving tray. The crab legs were skinny and had little meat and floating in lukewarm liquid. The self-serve ice cream machine was broken and the dessert line was empty for most of the evening. We had one waiter for 35 of us and he was pleasant and helpful, but overwhelmed. The floor supervisor looked disgusted and she never smiled. We will never pay the price of $35.50 per adult here ever again, much less hold a family gatherine of any sort.
