About

Simply charming Bistro and Hostel upstairs in this Old Hawaii Plantation style Building on Main St. Historical Naalehu town. What a gem in an area where country rules and few choices exist for miles in each direction. I just so happened to see it on my drive when I was starving on my way back from volcano national park. An attractive upscale lounge setting with charm everywhere you look including the family staff that runs it. Amazing locally grown organic Bistro Salad and outstanding Vegan Pumpkin Coconut soup with a side of Jasmine Brown rice perfectly cooked! To top it off I had their homemade Kau coffee ice cream with a slice of fresh pecan pie!! Yum-Yum! A great date place and a supper affordable and clean Hostel overlooking the old plantation town and majestic hills and monkeypod trees. A must for an authentic feeling experience in Hawaii! I shall return next year!
