Remember the thick, limp, undercooked pizza from the early ’90s? They’ve got it!!
Nice selection of pizzas. Very fresh toppings and selection of regular and thin crust. It’s probably best to call and order in advance as it takes time.
Worst Service Ever….. The owners of Boogie Woogie are about 2 IQ points away from needing someone to help them dress themselves… Seen everything from the fat lady sweating onto a pizza, a cock-roach in the pizza box, pizzas given to wrong people, forgotten orders, etc etc. Do yourself a favor and don’t ruin an evening by playing around with Boggie Woogie’s idiocy.
Great Pizza–Great Ambience!!!. I live in Pahoa and am lucky to be just a short drive to Boogie Woogie Pizza located in Old Pahoa Town. They have so many kinds of super pizzas that it’s hard to make up your mind!!! Ophelia makes all the dough and sauce fresh from old Armenian family recipes. The pies are baked in stone ovens like in the old country. In addition, they have salads and sides to round out your meal.They are in the process of adding indoor/outdoor garden dining in addition to the dining room and outdoor cafe style tables they already have. And everywhere there are neat things to look at like a motorcycle made from bamboo which serves as a table base and numerous fish tanks with tropical fish!!!You can eat in or take out. They, also, deliver locally!!!
Average wait: 2 hrs for horrible pizza. One 3 previous occasions we have had to wait 2 hours for a pizza. Each time they told us it would only be 45 minutes. The last time I ordered I thought I was wising up – When I ordered the pizza they said it would take 45 minutes. I went to pick it up 90 minutes later and they hadn’t even started making it yet???? Thought they would have offered to at least take 10% off the bill or free garlic bread or SOMETHING after such a long wait – but no. Tonight my boyfriend ordered a pizza @ 6:12 pm. He was told it would be ready in 35 minutes. He showed up at 6:50pm and they told him they had given the pizza to someone else????? Mind you this was not a regular plain cheese or pepperoni pizza – was custom with specific toppings for his and my side – hard to confuse with another order. He had to wait til they made another whole pizza. No apology, no discount – sorry for the wait kind of thing. And the pizza tonight – barely edible. Previous pizzas were edible – not great by any means. Tonight’s was awful.
Like it. We live in Pahoa, great place to take out or dine in. Great pizza, salad, and garlic toast!
