More local comfort. We stopped by Archie’s looking for simple local tastes, and were not disappointed. This small dated restaurant delivered solid fare at good prices. After two days of noodle overload, I opted for the Moco Loco. The beef patties were thin, well seasoned, and properly cooked. The brown gravy mixed with the egg yolk created an unctuous sauce that coated the bed of white rice. The mayo based Mac salad was loaded with celery, carrots, and onion. My wife had the noodles today. She had the chow fun. Archie’s version had the ubiquitous spam instead of the traditional pork. Very tasty. Tonight we left satisfied like the thousands of others have over these many years.
