Couldn’t leave Hawaii without trying one of the smaller restaurants. A lot of locals told me the shrimp here was pretty good so stopped by. Like many hole in the walls, the food was pretty good and the price was very reasonable. I had fun laughing with friends or at least laughing at one of them (one wasn’t use to going to places like this).This is good for a snack…will recommend ordering lots if you’re looking to get stuffed. I was pretty hungry after a couple of hours. lolVisit date 5/7/2014

Great neighborhood spot with local charm, despite being tough to locate. Address was not where we thought but ended up finding it eventually. It was worth it.Make the effort to locate it and make your mark on the wall while you are there.
Disappointing. Tne menu featured a tray of kalbi what looked like enough meat for four people. The price was $19.95. I asked the waitress if it would be enough for three or four people and she answered in the affirmative. I then placed the order to take out. When we opened the take out container at home, there were only two pieces of kalbi. I called and left a message but no one called back. I called again the next day and the manager claimed that the two pieces of meat were enough for four people and the picture in the menu had nothing to do with what you get.Learn from our experience.
Not impressed. To be fair, I didn’t order the shrimp. I ordered the King Kalbi for $19.99. It was a large portion of kalbi, but it was tough as hell. Two scoops rice, 4 veggie selections. Maybe enough for two people, but not very tasty and not a good piece of meet.
