Place is pretty clean. Concerned that there was only one bathroom not labeled. Just a door. It only had cold water to wash hands. Service was good. They were very attentive and accommodating.
This place is located conveniently across from Walmart. The menu has one page devoted to vegan dishes.Ordered the vego pho but the soup didn’t have much flavour. The noodles also didn’t taste that good. The only upside was plenty of mixed green veggies. Apparently the chicken pho is also not good. Both noodle soups cost $20 + taxes and tips.
The Green Papaya, located right across the street from Walmart in the Ala Moano area of Honolulu was a good choice for a midday meal if you are already in the area; however, I don’t think I’d make a trip just to eat there. Both Mr. B and I got cold vermicelli bowls – his with chicken and mine with pork and a fried spring roll. The food was (by Portland standards) a bit pedestrian, but definitely worthwhile and wallet-friendly. The service was decent, but not stellar: I had ask for extra nuoc cham sauce (dipping sauce) twice, but eventually got what I wanted. thegoodheartedwoman.com
