Hello? Anyone There?. Much loved kamaaina place=renovation=no talk to you. Since it reopened, have wanted to eat there, BUT called for reservation a number of times; endured multible phone transfers that led to: ether! One time got to talk to real person at hotel at about 6PM: said had to call back when there was somebody available at restaurant automatic phone reservation. Good-bye, old used-to-be friend.
The food is ok but the cups and utensiles were awfully dirty in our table. They never brought me my complete breakfast and service is really slow. Lots of elderly people there.
It’s seen better days. Uh … I went there a couple of weeks ago. The restaurant has seen better days. Man, it’s gotten pricey. I remember shrimp tempura that was big, juicy, fluffy … the ones they had were small and oily. Maybe I’m too nostalgic. To me, it’s the same thing that happened to Todai. USED TO BE awesome, now it’s … fair.
