Low Store is a family owned market dishing up Hawaiian shave ice, fresh fruit smoothies, island style food, sandwiches, wraps and freshly brewed coffee. We carry groceries, beer, and sundries along with locally made Hawaiian arts and crafts. You will also find locally grown fruits and fresh vegetables on our fruit stand. Our store is the perfect place to stop in for lunch or a snack and enjoy ocean views and a nice breeze. Low Store was built in 1925 as a gas station, and is still owned by the original Hawaiian family. We are located along the historic scenic Mamalahoa Highway just 10 miles outside of Hilo, 1.4 miles from the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens, and 4 miles from Akaka Falls.
