Home of Disappointment. Firstly, and most offending, all four of us were not particularly happy with our food. This was made more irritating by the slow service, high prices, and loud piano music. I can’t recommend this place on this unfortunate experience.
Fusion with out the Fusion. Okay this place is odd. Went out looking for Italian and when we walked up to this establishment there was nothing that told us the chef was more about thai food then Italian. No fusion atmosphere just a old tourist trap feel with italian food that comes with fusion on the side.$27 for fetichienie alferdo… say what
BAD. This was the worst service we have ever had!!! The food was soso!!! We live here and would NEVER recommend it !!! Dont know why they keep the server Jay… Have heard many complaints about him!!!
We asked a local where to find the best food and he sent us to Casa di Amici. We’ve gone twice now and no one in our extended family has been disappointed. I recommend the Duck Confit as my favorite at this remarkable place.
One of our favorite places to dine whenever we’re around Poipu Beach. The pork carbonara risotto is always excellent , and the duck confit is a close second. ($28-$30). The place is tucked away in between resort condos, there’s no ocean view, but the outside lanai gets the ocean breeze and the food is consistently good. Wine list is also pretty good. Dinner with 2 entrees & bottle of midrange wine will cost you about $85. Highly recommend this place!!
Our favorite restaurant in Poipu. Have been to Kauai 4 times and have eaten dinner here at least 3 times on each trip. It is important to make a reservation. If you go to the bar you will wait a long time for anyone to wait on you so I don’t recommend showing up and having a drink at the bar before going to your table. Once we’ve been seated our service has always been friendly and accomodating. We have enjoyed many of the menu items. I especially like the salmon.
Clyde, our waiter, maitre’d and presumed owner, was high energy entertaining, as has been our experience. Ahi special and my wife’s salmon were excellent and a filling portion….no room for dessert.
