The service was superb. The view at night is hit or miss, if there is no moon then all there is to see is a black void. But the atmosphere is romantic nonetheless. While the food is good, I’m not sure you can’t find better for less. But don’t get me wrong….it was really good.
Absolutely wonderful view! Definitely get a reservation for 5pm or 5:30pm to see the sun set! (I got my reservation the morning of.) Service was kind and gentle. Maybe a little too soft spoken but warm smiles and attentiveness made the experience great! Food came out quickly (as ordered) and was well worth the price! Makana Terrace is a great date spot on the North Shore of Kauai!
Seriously not worth it. When a restaurant charges $54 for a ribeye, alone, I expect it to at least be cooked properly. My steak was so overcooked. I sent it back. My husband had completely finished his dinner before my dinner was redone and delivered. Still wasn’t cooked properly! Seriously??? My husband had the filet and lobster. His steak wasn’t cooked as requested either and the lobster wasn’t that great. Save your money. Have a drink from the bar, watch the sunset, and head elsewhere for dinner.
Had breakfast here during our stay at the St. Regis. Pretty limited selection on the buffet for the price. The food that was on offer was fairly good.
