We had Uber bring us here after Hanauma Bay. We had a wonderful table on the patio overlooking the boats. We had a wonderful breeze and were quite comfortable. I enjoyed the lemongrass seasonal brew and hubby enjoyed the Hanalei brew. We enjoyed the pretzel bites and split the Blue burger. The side of papaya slaw was interesting. We had the bacon chocolate chip pie which was tasty but not really anything special. Definitely not enough bacon to add any noticeable flavor.
$4.20 for an ice tea. Server was slow and lazy and never came over to refill our drinks. I had water and that wasn’t refilled until my husband motioned the server over to refill it. Food was ok, hamburgers were greasy but the fries were good. $40 for 2 hamburgers and 1 ice tea. Go around the corner to the little food court.
Good food
Meh. It’s hard to up-thumb an airport restaurant. $8 beers, $20 mediocre pizza, and indifferent service may be par for the course, but I don’t have to like it. The Kama’aina Caf is just downstairs from this place, where I could feed four for the price of one here.
The food is fine here, just don’t come here unless you have a lot of time; lunch shouldn’t take alomst 1.5 hrs.
