Must agree not really Korean food, but its good, fast, and a little greasy. The taste is super ono! Recommend the place for fast on the go.
Childhood food. I loved Soon’s as I grew up near it.I’ve moved away but work near Soon’s so every now and then I get a plate. They had the best meat jhun I’ve ever had with it being deep fried and crispy. The chicken has a great smoky taste to it with a great sear. I like the deep fried mandoo as it’s usually packed with meat and veggies in it.Though my recent visit wasn’t to the expectation I have come to expect of Soon’s. I ordered my usual meat jhun plate. Food was hot and tasted good but the meat seemed a little more on the thinner side than usual. I love Soon’s pickled veggies but I had no kim chi which was disappointing. Maybe I just came on a off day and will visit again when I have the chance.
Awesome. Soon’s is my favorite. I’ve never had a bad experience. The thing that sets this place apart is the sauce! You must use it (I always buy an extra one) it’s delicious.
WARNING: CASH ONLY. other than that Great little gem tucked away In the corner or salt lake shopping mall next to pizza hut. Food is good for what you pay. Great for parties.
Food is fake Korean food, if you like it that’s fine, but in my personal opinion, the best value and best Korean food in the area is at BBQ 99.

Good Stuff. Ate here many times when I grew up in Hawaii in the early 90’s. Went back in ’06 and the food was still great. Will go back if I’m ever in Hawaii again.
