My wife and I liked this place! It’s small and we hit it at happy hour which was a little hectic, but once we got a drink and waited the 15-20 minutes for a table it wasn’t bad. There were a lot of locals there for happy hour and they were pleasant to be around. Our food was pretty good and my vegetarian wife liked the fact that lard was not used in any of the beans and that there were more than a few vegetarian options. The margs were on par but not really something to write home about. Maybe if we were local they would have been better? Overall nice atmosphere and I would definitely recommend.
Mediocre Mexican food. Great BBQ- if you like it wet and sweet. The best margaritas are at Koho’s (really! I was surprised too!). They do have a great happy hour from 4pm to 530pm with half price margaritas and some half price appetizers. Mostly it is local hangout that gets really crowded on weekends.
Pretty good food. Not kid friendly at all. Rude wait staff.
Only for the severly intoxicated. A cheese enchilada and chicken taco with beans and rice costs 17.95$ for dinner! Methinks it better be free range, white linens and prepared by a legitimate senorita working a wood burning oven in the back. Sadly, this is not the case. The food is old tasting, often microwaved and leaves an incredibly bad taste in both mouth and belly. The only reason to eat at Polli’s is if the local supermarkets have run out of tortillas and cheese to make quesadilla’s/taco’s/enchilada’s at home, all which would be infinitely better than anything (other than good surf footage) Polli’s has to offer.
Very popular place with the locals. Heard from several that the margaritas are excellent. Having one of those may help with the food. Our cheese quesadilla was burned pretty bad, that side was turned down on the plate so you wouldn’t notice. Our taquitos were very well fried and dark as well. Overall, it was just an OK that I would rate it. Wasn’t horrible but not really that great.
Just ok food. Fajitas are served hot, but in a puddle of greasy juice.
