Ive been there a few times for breakfast and Im never disappointed. It seems I always go for the omelette with the Portuguese sausage, hash browns crispy and toast. Some day I will tackle the pancake, I have had a couple of bites and its delicious, maybe next trip to the Island. The coffee is good and they keep the cup filled. Friendly staff and friendly diners. Enjoy the aloha spirit. Remember cash only.
A huge disappointment. After hearing about this place from the locals we were excited to give it a shot. The portions are absolutely massive, the prices are good, and the service is friendly! The food however, is fatty, greasy, cold, and bland. I got the house special logo moco, which was basically two tasteless beef patties and two scrambled eggs on top of mushy white rice, topped with a huge scoop of gravy. If you’re looking for quantity over quality, look no further than here. Otherwise, do yourself a favour and find elsewhere to eat.
The absolute worst breakfast I have ever had. The only thing they have going for them is fast friendly service and massive portions my eggs were slick with oil ice cold no flavor. Toast was cold bacon was cold. Everything was covered in grease. Big let down since it has such rave reviews.
Wow! Moco-Saurus. I’m full until next week. Best on any island. This is Hawaiian breakfast at its best.
I dare you to eat one pancake by your self. It’s bigger then my fat head and could have feed 4 people. The setting is great (small Hawaiian cafe) meal was great, I think it’s hard to get out of there for under $10 a person but pretty good price for hawaii. Beware cash only and extra charge for sharing meals.
Excellent local breakfast and lunch place. Great value, friendly service. Worth a possible wait.
I’ve been here a few times and can’t seem to get anything but the poke bowl. The seasonings are perfect and they give a generous portion of poke. So good. I’ve been here with friends who got breakfast dishes and they were equally impressed. The pancakes are huge and delicious. Id recommend a kids portion even for grown hungry men. If you come here you’ll see …they are the biggest pancakes I’ve ever seen.
