A lovely little restaurant that has wonderful 3 star food without any pretentiousness. Local beef, local seafood with thoughtful combinations and presentation. Be sure to ask what the specials are, they are well worth it. If you are on the big island, it is worth the drive from Kailua-Kona or Hilo.

Good food…Lotsa leftovers.. On the main strip in Waimea, Red Water offers huge portions of Asian style food for a reasonable price. The dark interior of the restaurant allows for subdued romantic dining. The shrimp/rice wok dish I ordered came in a trough of a bowl…enough for dinner and two servings of left overs…making the slightly inflated price for the entree more palatable. The macadamia nut creme brulee for desert was divine too.
A short drive up the hill from Waikoloa but very very much worth it. Amazing sushi.
Dessert for Dinner. The decore is funky but mature and enjoyed by all variety of ages. We sat by the fireplace, filled with glass oil candles. Across from us was a table whose seats were filled with cushions and pillows, and every table holds its own lantern. We started with the coconut curried chicken springrolls. The coconut milk dipping sauce was sweet and delicious. Celiacs heed the springrolls are wrapped in wheat, not rice paper. We followed with the spicy tuna roll and finished with the grilled pork medallions with baby bok choy and *divine* carmelized onion, pineapple, sweet potato ragout… This was listed on the main dish section, but should have been in the dessert section! The service was respectful and exquisite. We look forward to visiting again!
