A hidden gem. Great service & great food. What more can you ask for? The breaded Mai Mai & Hawaiian Grilled Porkchop are highly recommended. Definitely will come again.
So good we went back twice. Off the Main Street and away from all the commotion by a block or two. The mahi mahi was delicious. As was the loco Moco and the honey chicken when we went. The honey chicken seemed like it might be a limited time special. Prices were reasonable considering the area and staff was very friendly. My mother ordered a pia colada and the bar tender came back and topped it off saying he had made too much. Quesadilla appetizer was great as well.
Stopped by mid afternoon on a Saturday. Was going to order off the lunch menu, asked the waiter for his recommendation. He suggested the ribeye and a wilted spinach salad we also ordered the mahi mahi. The salad was probably the best salad I have had in my life. A pouched egg, bacon and a warm dressing. The ribeye was smothered in sauted onions and was excellent. The mahi mahi was good, but after the other two dishes, we wished we hadn’t ordered it. Probably the best meal we have had in Hawaii.
