Buho is one of my favorite places for Mexican in Waikiki. They have yummy tacos and a good selection for happy hour.Also they have taco Tuesdays which means 2 dollar tacos. They have a great rooftop that overlooks the strip.Great place for food, drinks and salsa dancing.
For me personally the best romantic Mexican cuisine on the island. Perfect rooftop setting and great atmosphere coupled with food allows you to focus on your partner
For a great roof top place that has tones of room Buho would be a pretty cool place to party at night if they do that kind of thing. Food wasn’t bad I had the fish tacos and my partner had the naked chicken burrito thing….all ok, service a little slow considering not many people at lunch, two dollar Tuesday tacos at 6pm, boom town!
This place is a staple every time we visit Waikiki. You can’t beat the rooftop location for ambiance, and the food and drinks are all top notch. My favourite way to finish off the evening is with churros and hot chocolate for dessert – mmm!
Located above the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, Buho Cantina is a little taste of Mexico, in the middle of the Aloha state. Service was a bit slow, but the food was worth the wait…very fresh tasting, and great portions, makes this open air, roof top destination is a dining hit. Looking forward to going back to check out the live entertainment in the evening!
Yes, Yes, Yes. Loved it. Beautiful ambience, a hidden gem among all the average restaurants around Waikiki. Healthy home-style mexican dishes which will fill you to the brim! Loved the prawns and couldn’t go past the nachos. Also nabbed myself a margarita or two. Delicious and if I was around for longer I would have returned to Buho for a second night!
The home made chips and salsa were great. The service was fantastic. The rice was also delicious, however the price was a little high. The rooftop atmosphere and beautiful view added the the great evening.
