My friend and I both had pasta at CJs New York Style Deli, the pasta was ok apart from that there was plastic in mine. The service was friendly and the food came out rather quickly.
Yummy breakfast.
Breakfast was outstanding. I had the three eggs, Portuguese sausage and crispy hash browns. Everything was cooked perfectly.
I had the eggs with mushrooms and onions and it was delicious. My daughter had pancakes and loved them. My other daughter had pancakes which were undercooked in the middle. We sent them back and everything was great.
Terrible food for way to much $. Besides that, they are having a seating turf war with the pizza place next door that is beyond annoying for the patron trying to find a place to sit. Not worth the walk.
I Actually Had Great Experience. I’m glad I haven’t read the reviews here prior to having breakfast. Service was fast, the omelet was delicious and my coffee mug was periodically refilled. On top of that, we made a mistake when calculating the tip – overstating the total. They were honest and corrected it, although they could have earned another $8 or so on that meal.
Service is bad, food rocks. This place has consistently served some of the best sandwiches in Honolulu. My wife works at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and probably eats here once a week. The sandwiches are pretty expensive, but if you can finish the whole thing, you are a big eater. The service here sucks however. The breakfasts are good too.
