Came here for dinner and wont return. I ordered the petite sirloin which came out with mashed potato. The mash was awful very lumpy and only luke warm in temperature, the meat was not cooked how I ordered it, was extremely pink right throughout and the steak was very chewy not tender at all. Service was ok but not great, salad bar was quite limited and as a previous reviewer stated the bread was STALE..it was terrible. Far better places to eat than this place.
My husband and I went here after reading the reviews for great prime rib. We sat down and ordered–he had the sirloin medium and I ordered the prime rib medium rare. It comes with a salad bar which was very limited and bread which tasted stale. The salad bar is right next to where they cook the meat and cut the prime rib. Most of the orders were for prime rib and the menu is pretty limited–prime rib being their specialty. We ate some salad and waited about 30 minutes for our entrees which were the meat and a baked potato. While waiting, I heard the manager talking to the cook and saying that the prime rib looked well done. She said that well we have a lot of medium rare orders tonight so take these too and we’ll call them medium rare and this other one we’ll call medium. I had a feeling this was going to affect my order but held out hope they were talking about someone else’s. Fifteen minutes later our food came out and sure enough it was medium well to well done. I told the manager that I had ordered medium rare and she took it back only to come back out and say that they had no prime rib except well done. We ended up leaving without eating and I asked her why they didn’t tell me that when I ordered?? The restaurant specializes in prime rib yet has no problem serving well done when ordered medium rare. I guess everyone else in the restaurant is stuck with overcooked steak too since we came in for dinner at 6:30pm. The manager offered a 20% off coupon if we wanted to come back. No thank you! Hawaii has amazing restaurants but this isn’t one of them!!!
