Teriyaki chicken and purple sweet potatoes ! Yum!
Love this place!. My family always makes a point to have at least one meal here when we spend a few days on Waikiki. Never disappoints us! The view is wonderful, make sure to take a picture. Food is great – love the salad bar and love the drinks. I always have seafood here, they do a great job with it. The service is attentive but not in your face. Jessica, the manager, even remembers us from trip to trip. This is one of our favorite places, not just on Waikiki but all the islands.
My wife and I had dinner here, arrived around 6:45. Waited extra for a table outside, 30 minute wait. View from our table was well worth the wait. I had sirlion and turf (grilled ahi), wife had teryaki chicken. Both meals were excellent. Service was great. Sunset just as were eating, wonderful atmosphere. Meals include all you can eat salad bar and bread. Great choice!
LOVE IT!!. Love it!! Have gone there for nearly 30 years! The atmosphere of Dukes without the crowds and noise. Food is great and if you eat in the bar Bob will get you whatever you want! Bob Melton is awesome! Check out friends of bob melton on facebook! It’s new, but everyone loves bob!
This place is way overpriced for the food they serve. I had the sirloin and fried shrimp plate. You start out with a salad from the salad bar where you don’t have much options. It’s not a good salad bar. The drinks were pretty good. The baked potato was okay, it was lacking cheese. Steak was cooked perfect and tasted great. Now the shrimp; I expected fresh shrimp that was fried for 30 bucks. Well the shrimp looked like it was pulled out of a Gordons frozen shrimp box, and that did it for me. This place is definitely not worth the price. Thank god it was a groupon.
THEY SUCK. I went down there and the decor was old, the prices were high for even Waikiki $50 for two very small tough steaks and the big tall amazon looking woman running around seemed so out of place in a Hawaiian Resturant, then find out she was the mgr. she was unkind. I felt the wait staff was mainly from out of town and racist to locals and people of color.
Local person/have frequented many restaurants here. The problem with Chuck’s Steak house is their salad bar is not to good!! Don’t expect much! And the waiters had on dirty clothes!!! The ONLY thing good was the view!
