Exactly what we expected. My wife and I ate here for a late lunch one afternoon after a day of surfing (or at least trying!) and laying on the beach. We got exactly what we expected to looking at the decor and feeling the vibe. The food was simple but good and the atmosphere was fantastic; mega relaxed (people running around in their bathing suits), very energetic (there was a live band playing), and essentially exactly what you would expect for a surf side barefoot bar/restaurant. If you want a quiet dinner, this is not for you. If you want to kick back on the beach with some friends, and have a few drinks while still wearing your shorts or bikini, this is the place for you!!!
Crazy. Thought it was going to be a nice meal and evening. Meal was good, atmosphere was not so great. This place is first and foremost a beach bar.
Great food and great fun!. A week in Waikki and we ended up at dukes at some point of the day every day drinking cocktails or beer!. Delicious cocktails, yummy spicy wings and those potato chips are delicious. Great sunsets and the live music ceates a beautiful atmosphere. The people here were super friendly and the prices are very reasonable. it is very crowded but is such a great relaxed place to hang out.
Made 2 stops at this place! First stop I ordered the Mandarin Salad at lunchtime. It was awesome! I was a little taken back by the birds that freely walk around the place. For an evening meal I fixing to try a special white fish. To be delivered yet! Looking out over the water as the sun is getting ready to set! A beautiful site that words can not describe!
Everything I have tried here has been excellent quality and a great value. I live close by and it has become a regular visit for me. The BBQ chicken is a meal for two at $11. Love it.
Not representative of wolfgang puck quality. DO NOT EAT HERE. Mr. Puck cannot possibly know of the quality of this restaurant. It does not represent the quality of other Puck establishments. The food is bland at best. We have been there 3 times based on previous Puck experiences and it keeps getting worse. Save your money and go to McDonalds.
Too Hot to Handle!. I tried the Asian Noodle Salad at Puck’s in Waikiki yesterday. The ingredients were quite fresh, not enough chicken or p-nuts but the dressing was sooooo hot! It was overly spicey. Also, dressing could have been a little sweeter. But I was feeling starved so I ate it. There should be a little warning on the menu so hot and spicy stuff won’t be ordered by people like myself who don’t care for it. They do this in Chinese places, why not Puck’s?
